After boarding, head up to the Panorama Lounge to meet and greet your hosts and fellow OUTbounders. Later in the evening we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail before dinner. Late tonight we’ll begin our river cruise and set sail for France.
Wander the charming medieval lanes and squares of Colmar and explore its “Little Venice” quarter. With its 9th-century streets, 13th-century Gothic churches and original Old Town, Colmar feels like it’s straight out of a storybook. The town overflows with Alsatian homes and a colorful mix of French and German Renaissance architecture. Stroll through the charming La Petite Venise and enjoy the picturesque views from the bridge across the Lauch River.
We'll spend the afternoon in Breisach, gateway to the Black Forest of Germany. Situated among rolling vineyards, this little river port town shares a wine- and food-loving culture with its French neighbors across the river in Alsace. The town’s landmark St. Stephen's Cathedral, pastel-hued buildings, and cobbled streets create an old-world charm. St. Stephen’s remains an iconic treasure, one of the many reasons why Breisach is worth visiting.
Strasbourg has been known throughout history as a city at the crossroads. Over thousands of years, Strasbourg has known many kingdoms and many cultures. Located along the banks of the Rhine, this more than 2000-year-old city shares a border with Germany, resulting in its culture and architecture blending both German and French influences. Strasbourg’s Gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame features daily shows from its astronomical clock and sweeping views of the Rhine River.
Today we’re in Mainz, a German city known for its old town, half-timbered houses and medieval market squares. In the center, the Marktbrunnen is a Renaissance fountain with unique red colored columns. Nearby, a distinctive octagonal tower tops the Romanesque Mainz Cathedral, built of deep red sandstone. The Gutenberg Museum honors the inventor of the printing press with exhibits, including two of his original bibles.
Today we visit Koblenz, where the Rhine and Moselle rivers converge. French and German traditions have produced a truly unique cultural fusion in Koblenz, characterized by cozy wine taverns, narrow alleyways, romantic spots and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere that you’ll get to experience for yourself. Things to see include the Guard House, which dates back to 1689, and the Schängel fountain, which stands in the courtyard of the Town Hall and is one of the city’s main landmarks.
Cologne, a 2,000-year-old city spanning the Rhine River is this region’s cultural hub. A landmark of High Gothic architecture set amid reconstructed old town, the twin-spired Cologne Cathedral is also known for its gilded medieval reliquary and sweeping river views. The adjacent Museum Ludwig showcases 20th-century art, including many masterpieces by Picasso, and the Romano-Germanic Museum houses Roman antiquities.
Arnhem is a city with a rich and eventful history. Go on a historic city walk or follow the Liberation Route past impressive monuments and places of remembrance associated with the renowned Battle of Arnhem. On the outskirts of Arnhem you’ll find the magnificent Veluwezoom, the oldest National Park in the Netherlands, where you can hike and bike for miles past vast country estates, country houses and castles.
Arrive in Amsterdam during the height of Amsterdam Pride, one of the best known and exciting Pride celebrations in the world. The festival attracts over half a million visitors each year and is one of the largest events in Europe. Pride Amsterdam includes unique exhibitions, cultural and sporting events along with countless street parties throughout the city. Today is yours to let your pride flag fly and dive head first into one of the largest parties on the planet!

After sailing along the Rhine, we’ll disembark for a walking tour of Koblenz, one of Germany’s oldest and most beautiful cities. You’ll visit the famous Deutsches Eck, or German Corner, where the Rhine and Moselle converge. During our tour, we’ll see vineyards, forests and the four mountain ranges that form the unique backdrop to this 2,000-year-old city.
Today we’ll take a guided tour of Cologne, the crossroads of Europe since the Middle Ages. We’ll see the immense, Gothic cathedral... the tallest twin-spire church in the world and the most visited landmark in Germany. We’ll then head over to the Old Town to stroll the streets and pass in front of the famous Farina Fragrance Museum. Enjoy some free time before returning to the ship. After our tour, we’ll be transferred to Düsseldorf by coach to meet our ship.
Welcome to the Netherlands! Today we’ll take a tour of the Open-Air Museum in Arnhem. This national museum focuses on the everyday life of Dutch people throughout the country’s history and includes old homes, farms, and factories from different regions. You can stroll through the attraction at your own pace or take one of the authentic trams. As you enjoy your day, the ship will cruise to Nijmegen. We’ll return on board in Nijmegen and begin to cruise to Amsterdam.
This morning we’ll take a canal tour of Amsterdam, one of the most unique and extraordinary cities in the world. Enjoy a highlight tour of all the major sites from its famous canals, including the tallest windmill in the Netherlands, the De Gooyer. Tonight, Pride Amsterdam is in full swing... so go out and celebrate your Pride however you choose! We’re here for all the famous events including the Drag Queen Olympics and world famous canal parade.

The Panorama Lounge is situated all the way forward on Upper Deck and features floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for spectacular views of the passing scenery... a distinguishing feature of river cruising. Intimate seating areas are peppered throughout the open floor plan, allowing you the choice of going all in with the group or enjoying a little private time between you and a smaller gathering of friends. Enjoy cocktails, dancing, games and entertainment in this picturesque setting.
Enjoy a cocktail at the main bar with us while watching a spectacular sunset together. Located within the Panoramic Lounge, you’ll find originality and innovation, with a new twist on the ol’ purveyors of gin and tonics and buckets of beer. This is the place where you’ll spend an enjoyable evening nursing a cocktail with great friends, old and new! Whether you’re in the mood for a mixed drink or glass of wine, we invite you to join us and enjoy one of best bars on the water with your fellow OUTbounders. Order your favorite festive cocktail to savor after a long day celebrating your Pride in Amsterdam.
At your service, OUTbounders will find everything they need at the reception desk, located at the heart of the ship on the Upper Deck. It's the perfect place to meet with friends before dinner or ask any questions you may have during our voyage. Here's where you'll leave each morning as we venture OUTbound to Pride Amsterdam, and where you will return at the end of each day... greeted by a friendly smile and warm drink.
Located on the Upper Deck, the restaurant comfortably seats all our OUTbounders at tables which vary in size with a panoramic view. The atmosphere is casual but elegant. The selection and presentation of the food is outstanding, and you’ll find the quality of service is unmatched.
The food is incredible, every meal every day. You’ll enjoy plenty of fish, fruits and vegetables with every meal and be impressed by how fresh everything is. In fact, the only frozen item is ice cream! You’ll have plenty of healthy choices to choose from, and loads of unhealthy ones, too!
For spectacular views of the passing landscape, head up to the Sun Deck that allows full enjoyment of the view, even when passing under low bridges. The top deck features an all-weather seating area and a walking track for those who want to keep active. It’s the perfect place to visit with old friends and new during the day while enjoying complimentary refreshments with the stunning scenery passing by.

After disembarking our ship, we'll move the party to the heart of Amsterdam and our host hotel, the Swissotel... just a few doors down from Dam Square, home of the incredible Pride Amsterdam Closing Party! Pick your transfer time to leave the ship, either 9:00am or 10:00am, to head inland and get settled into your hotel rooms. It's a 10 minute walk from our ship to the hotel, or choose to ride along with your luggage in the shuttle transfers... all included of course!
After moving to our hotel on Saturday, it's time to experience the peak of the festival and Amsterdam Pride’s signature event, the Canal Parade. Known the world over, the Canal Parade is a procession of boats cruising the city’s canals celebrating the past, present and future of the LGBTQ+ community in fabulously decorated boats and barges. The Canal Parade is the festival’s centerpiece event where lavishly decorated barges give the term ‘float’ a literal meaning. Participants put on a show with their onboard DJs, show-stopping themes and plenty of smiles. Smaller boats line the canal walls, enjoying the party by shimmying up to each other, forming a huge flotilla of fun.
Don’t miss the Drag Queen Olympics on Sunday, with events like the Stiletto Sprint, Handbag Discus and the “Tug of Love”. All kings and queens are welcome to cheer on the drag athletes as they battle for the gold at Homomonument. Afterward, catch your breath and head over to the official Closing Party of Pride Amsterdam where we’ll close the weekend out with a bang! Celebrate diversity and Pride in the most famous space in Amsterdam, Dam Square! The party starts at 2:00pm and runs until the “official” end at 10:00pm, although party goers have been known to party on through the night while closing out Pride Amsterdam.
Enjoy some time on your own this morning or just sleep in and recover as we say “Vaarwel” (Dutch for goodbye) to this fantastic city and our grand OUTbound Amsterdam Pride adventure. Spend your final hours enjoying one of the many cafés along Reguliersdwarsstraat, one of the most important LGBTQ+ streets in Amsterdam for wining, dining and partying. At the core of the area is the espresso bar Lunchroom Downtown. Originally opened in 1970, it has remained active and is a pleasant hangout to this day, inviting patrons to relax in true Dutch style with coffee and pancakes.
